I recently bought a 94 5.7L Suburban C2500 body and had it imported into Iceland. It is complete, including the wiring and interior, but without a chassis. I also bought a 94 6.5 Turbo Diesel engine along with 4L80-E automatic transmission. All this will be fitted to my 1983 Chevrolet K30 pickup chassis, with Dana 60 in front and 14 bolt rear.

 

 

 

 

I have ordered most of the parts needed to adapt the Diesel engine to the former 5.7L Suburban. It seems to me that there will be no big problems. I will let you know more when the project is completed sometime in November 1998.
